Advantages and strengths
The Featherlite 6900 series stepladder is manufactured from non-conductive high-visibility yellow fiberglass with C-channel side rails. The high-strength copolymer ProTop integrates multiple tool slots, allowing tools to be placed directly at the top of the stepladder. The spreader arms are positioned inside the structure, protected from impacts during loading and transport, with wrap-around sleeves reinforcing the arm-to-rail connection. The 3-inch (7.6 cm) wide aluminum steps are fully serrated for a reliable non-slip surface. Extra-large PVC rubber safety boots provide grip and rail protection on all surfaces. Double-rivet construction and heavy-duty gusset bracing. Meets or exceeds CSA Grade 1A, ANSI Type 1A, and OSHA. Duty rating: 300 lbs (136 kg). Available in five heights: 1.22 m, 1.83 m, 2.44 m, 3.05 m, and 3.66 m (4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 feet).

Use
The Featherlite 6900 series stepladder is designed for professionals who spend their days moving between work positions on a stepladder and need equipment that is as practical and well-built as possible.
The ProTop is a true working platform at the top. Its tool slots allow drills, chisels, tape measures, or small hand tools to be placed directly at the top of the stepladder without risk of them falling and without needing to climb down for every tool change.
The inside spreader braces are the feature that most distinguishes the 6900 series from most professional stepladders. On a standard stepladder, the spreader braces are exposed on the outside of the structure, where they absorb impacts during vehicle loading or passage through narrow corridors. On the 6900, these braces are on the inside, naturally protected by the rails. The wrap-around sleeves further reinforce their connection to the rails, improving lateral rigidity of the deployed stepladder.
The extra-large PVC rubber boots are designed for two simultaneous functions: effective grip on jobsite surfaces and protection of the fiberglass rails from wear at ground contact, extending the equipment's useful life.
Non-conductive high-visibility yellow fiberglass is the reference material for work near electrical lines or equipment. Duty rating: 300 lbs (136 kg). Meets or exceeds CSA Grade 1A, ANSI Type 1A, and OSHA standards. Available in 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 feet.
