Use
The Featherlite 6600-AA is the maximum-duty version of Featherlite's twin front step ladder lineup. Rated Type IAA for 375 lbs (170 kg) per side, it targets industrial jobsites, MRO (maintenance, repair, operations) teams, and environments where daily workload places intensive demands on equipment.
Two Users, One Ladder
The twin front design allows two workers to climb and work simultaneously, each from their own side, at the full individual load capacity of 375 lbs. This configuration is particularly suited to ceiling painting, light fixture installation, or cladding work where two people need to coordinate at the same height without repeatedly moving equipment.
The Difference from the 6600 Series
Compared to the 6600 series (Type 1A, 300 lbs per side), the 6600-AA delivers 25% greater load capacity per side and is available up to 12 feet, positioning it as the right choice for heavy industrial jobsites and intensive MRO use. The heavy-duty metal top also replaces the aluminum top of the 6600 series for greater impact resistance.
Safe for Electrical Environments
Non-conductive fiberglass is the recommended material for work near electrical lines or equipment. It reduces risk in case of accidental contact with a live conductor, unlike aluminum ladders.
