The cable guide keeps the cable aligned with the climbing zone at regular intervals, reducing cable deflection in wind or lateral movement. The pre-swaged cable eliminates field swaging. The Lad-Saf X2 cable sleeve (6160030) must be ordered separately. ANSI Z359.16, OSHA 1910.140 and 1926.502 compliant.

Use

The ORS-LAD-C40 kit is the simplified purchasing solution for new generation Lad-Saf system installers who want to order the components of a galvanized steel system in a single transaction. It bundles the three components that must be ordered together to form a functional system for standard fixed ladders up to 40 ft (12.2 m).

The standard rung mount (6116631) provides the top and bottom anchor points of the system. The anchor integrated into the top bracket is rated at 3,600 lbs (16,018 N), delivering the required fall arrest capacity. The cable guide (6100400) keeps the cable aligned with the climbing zone between the two brackets, limiting cable deflection from wind or lateral movement. The pre-swaged cable (6104040) at 40 ft (12.2 m) is supplied cut to length and ready to install.

The Lad-Saf X2 cable sleeve (6160030) is not included in this kit and must be ordered separately. It is the component the user connects to their fall arrest harness to be protected during climbing. Installation by trained and qualified personnel only, in accordance with ANSI Z359.16 and OSHA requirements.
