The Climb Extension bracketry extends fall protection 4 ft (1.2 m) beyond the top of the fixed ladder, ideal for rooftop, platform, or elevated structure access requiring additional clearance. The top bracket integrates a certified 3,600 lb anchor point (100% tie-off capability), allowing the user to stay connected at all times during the transition.
Compatible with the Lad-Saf X3 (6160054) and X2 (6160030) cable sleeves, sold separately, as well as your choice of 9.5 mm (3/8 in) steel cable. Installs on the same rung profiles as the standard Rung system (cylindrical, square, diamond, angle iron, rectangular; 200 to 310 mm spacing). For 2 simultaneous users, in galvanized steel. Use

The Lad-Saf Climb Extension bracketry is the recommended solution when a fixed 4 ft clearance is required at the top of the ladder -- for example to reach a platform, walkway, or slightly elevated access point -- without the complexity of an adjustable telescoping mechanism.

A Fixed Extension, Not Adjustable

Unlike the Telescoping Extension (6116618), designed for variable deployment through a roof hatch and up to 4 users, the Climb Extension offers a fixed 4 ft extension for 2 users, suited to standard clearances at the top of the ladder.

Integrated Anchor Point

The top bracket integrates a certified 3,600 lb fall-arrest anchor point, providing continuous (100%) tie-off throughout the transition at the top of the ladder.

Compatibility

Installs on the same rung profiles as the standard Rung system (200 to 310 mm spacing). 9.5 mm (3/8 in) steel cable and Lad-Saf X2 or X3 cable sleeve sold separately. Compatible cable guide: part number 6100401 (stainless steel, Telescoping & Extension application).
