CONEKT rigid concrete posts

Use

Four heights available for straight rigid posts: 500 mm (19.7 in), 700 mm (27.6 in) and 1000 mm (39.4 in).

One height available for the L-shaped rigid post: 700 mm (27.6 in) with a wall offset of 230 mm (9.1 in) (measured at the edge of the base plate).

The P500 rigid concrete post is a round Ø70 mm (2.76 in) section with a groove positioned at the base of the tube to control deformation and protect the weld area. It can clamp supports from 80 to 125 mm (3.1 to 4.9 in) wide*.

The P700 and P1000 rigid concrete posts are square sections measuring 80 mm (3.1 in) and 100 mm (3.9 in) respectively. They can clamp supports ranging from 80 to 195 mm (3.1 to 7.7 in) and from 100 to 235 mm (3.9 to 9.3 in) respectively*. These posts require the addition of the S11 plate for installing energy absorbers.

The PL700 offset wall-mounted rigid concrete post has a 100 mm (3.9 in) square section. It can clamp supports from 100 to 235 mm (3.9 to 9.3 in) wide*. This post also requires the S11 plate for absorber installation.

These rigid posts are designed to support CONEKT rail and cable lifeline systems, as well as all CONEKT NF EN 795 Type A, C or D anchor points.

*Subject to approval by the engineering department.

Base plates are supplied unassembled and must be assembled using the supplied M12 bolts and washers.

For installation in concrete, M12 stainless steel chemical anchors such as HVU HAS are recommended.

The connection between a P700, P1000 or PL700 post and a CONEKT energy absorber requires an S11 plate.
