Technical description
The HiiGARD webbing self-retracting lifeline is made of 2.5 cm (1 in) wide, 3.3 m (11 ft) long polyester (HPME) webbing, housed in a thermoplastic casing.
The hook at the end of the webbing is made of zinc-plated steel alloy, self-locking, and fitted with a built-in fall indicator.
Load capacity is 140 kg (310 lb). The product is certified to CSA Z259.2.2-17.
