CONEKT rail lifeline for steel structure

CONEKT rail lifeline for steel structure

Warranty 5 years
Standard: EN795:2012/CEN/TS 16415:2013

The CONEKT rail lifeline lets you work safely at height. Thanks to its controlled deflection, it can easily be installed in areas with limited clearance. The rigidity of the rail also provides optimal comfort when moving along the system.

Use

Installing a CONEKT rail lifeline on a steel structure is done using:

  • the CRA double clamp and the SC clamping bracket

  • the R25 short rail fixing to attach the rail directly to the clamping bracket, or to a standoff (AR articulated joint or AD "diabolo") if additional height is required

It is possible to combine several standoffs and even add a custom-made tube if greater clearance is needed.

In specific cases, depending on the ceiling/support, the rail can be fixed directly using the R25XL wide rail fixing.

Technical requirements:

  • Ceiling use with standard or XL rail

  • Spacing between fixings with standard rail: max. 5 m; if suspended, fixings every 2.5 m

  • Spacing between fixings with XL rail: 6 m; if suspended, 5 m

  • Maximum 4 users simultaneously / 2 users if suspended

  • Periodic inspection at least once every 12 months

Technical description

Rigid lifeline in anodized aluminium.
CONEKT rails and lifeline components have no sharp edges that could damage lanyards or ropes.
